JCrew Statement necklace

As most of you may know, I am recently going through a JCREW craze. I am absolutely in LOVE with their jewelry, more specifically their statements necklaces. I realize their necklaces are HIGHLY expensive, but they're just so damn gorgeous.

The link below is the video to my recent haul, including the Jcrew necklace that I purchased:

The photos and links below are to my top 5 fave JCREW statement necklaces:

Day 3 of shaadi (wedding)- Walima

This is the dress that I wore for the last day of the wedding.  It was an evening wedding, so I decided to go for a more darker look compared to the more lighter-natural look I did for the mehndi day.

Here's my kameez custom made from Pakistan.

Here are the accessories I wore:

Gold/diamond ring on index and ring finger (one ring but are separable)- Saudi Arabia

Ring on middle finger- Pakistan

Below will be step by step pictures on how I achieved this look:

As you can see, this look is great for not only lighter pigmented eyes, but darker ones too.

Posted below is the link to the video on the products that I used to achieve this look. For step by step pictures, scroll down.

These are the products that I used-

So first thing I did was to apply black eyeliner on the inside of my eye. Then, I applied my light beige eyeshadow roller halfway on my eyeball...

So that it looks like so.

Then I applied the darker brown eyeshadow roller by NYX in the color "Almond" and I just applied that to the other half of my eyeball

So it should look something like this.

Then I took my elf plum shade eyeshadow and applied it on to my crease, right on top of the NYX "almond" colored shadow. For me, it always helps to draw a V shape, and then I just go back and color in.

I then went in and applied my bronzeish maroon colored eyeshadow from one of Forever 21's Love & Beauty palette, and I lined it above the winged out shadow.

So it should then look something similar to this.

Now if you look at both eyes, there is a tremendous difference. The left eye in the picture only has the two brown hues applied on to the eye. The right eye in the picture has the dark purple color blended in with the dark brown, along with the reddish-maroon color outlined on top.

Here are some closeups of my eye makeup

Here is a zoomed out version of the makeup look.

BAFROOM PIIIIICS

This is the aftermath of the wedding. These next two photos were taken at 2AM, and I was so surprised to see that my makeup actually lasted and that my hair looked fine.

Thank you guys for watching! And until next time :)

Day 1 of Shaadi (wedding)- Mehndi

This memorial-day weekend I was lucky enough to be invited to a pakistani wedding from a good family friend of ours. The following blog will consist of makeup and outfits from the two days- as you all know, Pakistanis and Indians are known for our lengthy weddings! Scroll down for pictures. Enjoy :)

On the first day of the wedding - the Rasm-e-henna ceremony - these are the items I accessorized with:

1. gold/crystal rhinestoned ring- Charlotte Russe
2. Golden/diamond stretch bracelet- New York & Co
3. Long gold earrings- Forever XXI
4. bronze shimmery nail polish- Orly

As for my hair, I decided to curl my long locks. p.s.- this was a day before I got my haircut :'(

I decided to go a little neutral with the eye color since my outfit was VERY flashy, as it had lots of embroidery on it and was embellished with crystals and rhinestones.

Then I used black liquid liner and flicked it out.

And so here was the finished look.

And here's my good friend Hadia and I taking bathroom pics at the wedding.
