Birthday lunch

Hello my beautiful friends! I'm glad to say that I am FINALLY done with my summer classes and as Ramadan is slowly approaching- only about 10 days away, I will be posting more and more on my blog. Firstly, I would like to announce that I am now officially out of my teenage years- I turned 19 this past Thursday, June 27th. However I had my english final to take on my birthday and I had work afterwards *womp womp* ... and so I decided to celebrate my birthday on Friday.

On Friday, June 28th, I took my friends out to lunch at Maggiano's Little Italy in Tysons Galleria (which is located in McLean, VA).

We were a party of 12, so it was hard getting everyone in the photo

This is their bruschetta which is baked garlic toast topped with fresh tomatoes, basil, balsamic vinegar and roasted garlic.

It was truly delish.

This is the Four Cheese Ravioli + from their "Classic Pastas" section.

The classic pastas sections special is:

1)  Order a classic pasta today and your options are to choose from: the spaghetti marinara, spaghetti meat sauce, spaghetti meatball, bowtie aglio, mom's lasagna- marinara, mom's lasagna- meat sauce, taylor street baked ziti, Four Cheese Ravioli +, Baked Rigatoni Pomodoro, Eggplant Parmesan, OR the Fettuccine Alfredo.

2) Choose another pasta to take another home for tomorrow.

It is totally worth it, as you get to enjoy your entree there and you get to take a frozen package home.

This is what I ordered- The "Linguine Di Mare" from their Speciality Pastas.

The Linguine Di Mare is Lobster, shrimp, mussels, clams cooked in a spicy lobster tomato broth. It was truly one of a kind and I really enjoyed it.

Below is Maggiano's Mini Dessert Sampler

The Mini Desert Sampler is served in individual-sized portions. It consists of:

Tiramisu, Crème Brulee, Apple Crostada, Chocolate Zuccotto Cake, New York Style Cheesecake

Here is the Chocolate Zuccotto Cake.

The Chocolate Zuccotto Cake is a chocolate cake layered with sambuca chocolate mousse and is iced with chocolate frosting and dusted with cocoa powder
